There is a reason my room is air conditioned, and it is not comfort for its own sake. Humidity changes what a practice can be, and I would rather explain that than have you find out the hard way.
Warm is not the same as ready
Heat makes you feel loose before you actually are. Range of motion arrives faster than the strength to control it, which is exactly the gap where people overreach and pull something.
The practical version: in August, take longer over the early part of a class than you think you need, and treat a deep stretch that arrives easily with more suspicion than usual.
Grip
Everything is slippery. Hands slide in downward dog, feet slide in warrior, and the correction most people make is to grip harder, which tires the forearms and teaches the shoulders a habit worth unlearning.
A small towel solves most of it.
Timing
Morning classes and evening classes are different practices in this season, and not only because of temperature. Mornings are quieter and the light is better. Evenings are fuller, and there is more of a room to be part of, which is either what you want or exactly what you do not.
Both are on the timetable, and the timetable is the page worth checking rather than guessing from this one, because it changes.
Afterwards
Drink more than you think you need, and do it over the following hour rather than all at once in my doorway. That is the whole of the advice.
