Since 2017
More than a studio. A place to connect.
Walking into a new studio alone can be the hardest part. We have built our studio so that it does not stay awkward for long.
We opened in 2017 because we wanted Sayulita to have a safe place for movement that belonged to everyone, not just visitors. A place where locals and holidaymakers could practise together, try something new and feel welcome.
We’ve stayed open six days a week, all year round, offering different styles of yoga, dance and movement. We want you to feel comfortable walking through the door, even if you come alone and don’t know anyone.
The studio has grown over the years, but the idea is still the same: a place to move, learn and connect with others. Come along, try a class and see how you feel.

Situated in the health corridor of Sayulita
Situated in Sayulita’s health and wellness corridor, we’re next to the town’s organic food store, with physiotherapists, coffee shops and European hairdressers among our neighbours. It’s a lovely part of town that’s well worth discovering.
We’re about an eight-minute walk from the main plaza, with parking available for those driving in from Puerto Vallarta or staying outside town. The studio is air-conditioned, making practice more comfortable in the summer heat, with the added bonus of keeping the mosquitoes at bay.
Have a look at our timetable for current class times and upcoming workshops and Retreats. If you’re not sure which class is right for you, or have a question before coming along, take a look at our FAQs. And if you can’t find the answer, just get in touch. We’re always happy to help

Freedom in the body
From complete beginners to people who have practiced for twenty years, find the class that suits you.
Life is problematic, body is painful but the answer is in yoga. You can solve many problems if you have freedom of body, mind and intelligence.” -Geeta Iyengar
If you have never done any of it, say so when you message us. We will guide you with our experience.

Our teachers, different traditions
Our timetable brings together different styles of yoga, movement and dance, taught by teachers with their own training, experience and way of working. We like it that way.
If you try a class and it isn’t for you, don’t write off the rest. Every teacher brings something different, so try a few and see what feels right for you.

The studio is one part of it
Sayulita is small enough to walk across in twenty minutes, although stopping to say hello to all the familiar faces can make you late for class! That’s part of what makes living here special. The community is close, people know each other, and so much of daily life happens on foot. You can walk to yoga, meet someone for breakfast, head down to the water and go about your day without ever needing a car. It’s one of the things we love about living here.

Locals as well as visitors
We want classes to be affordable for local families, so children’s tap, ballet and jazz classes are $120 MXN. Adult classes start at $250 MXN.
You don’t need to sign up for a course or commit to anything. Come along, try a class, and see how you feel. We also offer passes and monthly rates for local people, because that’s what our community asked for. We want people to feel welcome to practise and move, without worrying about having to commit to more than they can afford.

Movement is not confined to a studio
Surfing is a big part of life here, and it takes its toll on the body. Some of our students are out paddling early every morning and come to yoga after to stretch, work on their alignment and give their bodies something different.
But there’s more to Sayulita than the surf. You can walk into the jungle, explore the neighbouring beaches, spend time by the river or, in winter, watch humpback whales along the coast. One of the lovely things about practising here is that you can finish a class and head straight out to enjoy everything around you. It makes for a pretty good day.

Eating well here is easy
Friday mornings often mean a trip to the market, where local growers and makers from the surrounding villages come to sell their produce and handmade goods. You might go for a few vegetables and end up spending an hour chatting to people along the way. That’s just how Sayulita works.
There are also little shops selling organic produce, juice and smoothie bars, bakeries making good bread, and plenty of places to find a decent meal. You’ll soon discover your favourites. Ask anyone in a yoga class where they shop or eat, and they’ll happily tell you where to go!

What a community actually looks like
It’s more than a timetable of classes. It’s knowing which teacher is in, recognising the person next to you, or having somewhere to go at nine in the morning when you’re new in town and don’t know anyone yet.
It’s a local family whose child has been coming to ballet for three years, sharing the same room as someone visiting Sayulita for the fourth time, who books their class before they even book their flight.
That kind of community takes time to build. You can’t buy it or create it overnight. It’s what we’re most proud of, and why we keep the studio open six days a week, even when Sayulita is quiet.
