The rainy season

Fewer people in the room is not a worse class.

The town thins out in summer. Fewer visitors, quieter streets, and a room that had fourteen people in it in February has six.

If you live here, this is the good half of the year.

A smaller class is a different class

Six people in a room means the teacher can actually get to everybody. You will be corrected more, adjusted more, and asked more often how something feels. That is worth more than most people expect, and it is available for the same $200 MXN as the class that had fourteen in it.

If you have been practising for a while and feel stuck, this is the season to fix it.

Indoors matters more now

The studio is air conditioned and it is indoors, which through July and August is the difference between a practice and an endurance event. Outdoor and open-air classes are lovely in January. They are a different proposition when the humidity arrives.

The timetable does not stop

Classes run Monday to Saturday all year. The studio is closed on Sundays, in June the same as in December.

My timetable shifts a little between high and low season, so if a particular class matters to you, message me and confirm rather than assume. That works both ways: I add things as well as move them.
